Artist's Comments

I'm quite pleased with this one. This was a lot of trail and error to get the mist and lighting right.

I was so tired last night that's all i could say, here's a more detailed comment! I actually like the woman's facial structure and the detail throughout the whole image is there but it's subtle, when I saw the thumbnail in my watchbox I thought it was some kind of beautiful (digital) painting but when you zoom in you see a pseudo - photorealistic scene. It's not usual to see the Aliens looking so peaceful and subdued so that's interesting to see. When you look closely you see how well everything is modelled and textured yet the green mist doesn't mask any of that, only invites you to look closely. All in all, major achievement

Excellent scene, the lighting and colors used give it the alien feel perfectly!

Sil meets the creatures from the "Alien" movies. Very nicely accomplished.

Well worth the work on it. I would only recommend not looking at it in a well lit room. Makes it darker than it really is.

That really is fantastic. I wouldn't mind seeing some specular highlights to give it that sort of 'wet' feeling I recall from the movies. Outside of that, it is done extremely well!
